Teaching Philosophy
I believe everyone can find joy in making music. Joy can look like a 6 year old playing their first song. Joy can look like a 13 year old performing on a recital. Joy can look like a dedicated high school student getting into All State, or their choice college program. Joy can look like an adult student reconnecting with their instrument.
I want to help each of my students excel in music in the way that brings them the most joy. I recognize that it looks different for everyone. I have high expectations for my students efforts, and as long as those efforts are consistent I am happy to support them along their chosen musical path.
