In addition to maintaining an active flute studio, Ms. Elkins enjoys performing in a variety of settings. Prior to moving to Texas she regularly performed with the Salt Lake Symphony and in the Sandpiper Trio (flute, oboe, piano). Currently Ms. Elkins can be heard regularly in the Austin Flute Choir and in other Austin Flute Society events.

This performance is from the BYU Concerto Competition, which Ms. Elkins won in January 2013. Her solo performance was two months later. This competition is held yearly at BYU and about 8 performers are chosen from across the school of music.
