I've Never Played Flute BeforeI'll provide an instrument for your first lesson. We'll try working to get sound out of the flute (it's the trickiest first step!) and then we'll discuss goals and what you are hoping for from lessons.
I'll help you look at options for renting/purchasing a flute and we'll get scheduled for future lessons. |
I've Played Flute BeforeBring the music you've most recently worked on. It can be your band music, or just things you have been playing on your own. If you are coming from a previous teacher and have books you have been working out of please bring them! My goal is to asses where you are at in your playing and then we can work to make a plan for the future.
I'll have you play a little for me, and also have you try doing some new things to see how we work together. Feel free to ask me questions or bring up concerns as we are getting started. At the end if we both feel like this is a good fit we'll work to get you a regular spot in my studio and I'll look forward to seeing you next week. |
